The main building of the Hotel Schwan, built in 1628, was originally used to accommodate tugboats and their horses. Over the centuries it was expanded and eventually served as the renowned Hotel Schwan. In the 20th century, the Swan gained a reputation as the region's best hotel and hosted international celebrities such as Sean Connery.
The Hotel Schwan, in collaboration with the EBS University, offers now serviced apartments under the new brand SWAN1628. The full service include a dedicated single point of contact and access to our shared co-living space. Our motto for your stay: Living at its best.

Apartment: Each of our rooms is designed for maximum comfort and functionality, featuring a premium bed ranging in size from 90 to 140 cm to ensure optimal sleeping comfort. A spacious wardrobe provides ample storage for all your personal items. The modern furnishings include a comfortable sofa, a stool, as well as a work area equipped with a desk, desk chair, and a high chair at a high table, ideal for studying or working. A television and various storage options complete the amenities, creating an environment that not only supports your productivity but also offers a personal retreat for your academic goals and leisure activities.
Kitchen: Discover culinary freedom in each apartment's sophisticated kitchenette, meticulously equipped with cutting-edge appliances for your convenience. Enjoy the versatility of a microwave with oven capabilities, a sleek kettle, a practical sink, and a refrigerator complete with a freezer compartment. Complemented by an array of fine dishes, glasses, and essential cooking utensils, this space is designed to inspire your cooking adventures and simplify your meal preparations
